Growing your business through cross promotion

For most St. Louis digital T-shirt printing companies starting out, they all seem to share a common denominator and that’s that they were all looking to grow their business. I have been in the custom screen printing and embroidery business for well over two decades and I have found that the most important part of any successful business of any kind is sales. The reason for this is that no matter how proficient you are in whatever it is that you happen to do for a living, nothing happens before that potential customer either walks in the door or picks up the phone to call you. It all starts with that initial bid request. You have to not only sell the prospective buyer on your ability to get the job done correctly as well as on time. You also have to instill a feeling of confidence in their mind and spirit that you are going to treat them fairly and give them the best overall product compared to your competitors. You can expect them to go out and acquire approximately 2 to 4 separate quotes and then they will try to compare apples to apples and go with the best offer that presents itself.

This means you are going to have to try and find a way to separate yourself from the rest of the many different St. Louis screen printing companies. How do you do this, you may ask? This can be done in a lot of different ways, but one of the most effective methods is to try and bring something extra to the table that they might not have even asked for initially. We have a huge passion and a strong love for creative marketing and cross promoting. Even though we might happen to be in two totally different industries we can still potentially complement one another if we work together in the right capacity. We provide the digital T-shirt printing for many different musicians. A lot of times we will not only give them a quote for exactly what they asked for, but we might bring something additional to the table by acting as a partial sponsor. In return we simply ask that they turn us on to other bands that they might interact with. This normally creates a scenario that compliments everybody tremendously. The customer is getting some additional discounted apparel and we on the other hand are increasing our clientele base.

We are a St. Louis screen printing and custom embroidery company that takes great pride in turning out a superior product. It has been our experience over the years that there are many different ways to market ourselves and any of them are going to be a calculated risk. That being said, nothing has worked more effectively than just taking the approach of underselling and over-delivering. If we do our job correctly, the repeat customers and the awesome referrals will simply tend to take care of themselves.
