Establishing a viable screen printing company

What is it that separates one St. Louis custom T-shirt printing company from another?

Sometimes there is a very fine line that makes the difference between excellence and mediocrity when it comes to demonstrating superior customer service and being able to provide an excellent completed product especially when it comes to custom embroidery and screen printing. There are so many different aspects involved and if each one is not addressed properly, things can go wrong.

We’ve been at this a very long time and have implemented a long list of checks and balances that dictates our protocol and helps to ensure that there is not going to be any bad surprises when you go to open your package of completed product. The very first and most important component is clear communication. I have met a lot of great salesman in my time, as well as some that weren’t so good. The very best salesmen learned that there is something to be gained by being a good listener. The more that they know about what you are trying to accomplish the better chance they have of being able to educate you on all the different options you have.

There is more than one way to get an image onto a piece of apparel and a lot of different factors come into play when trying to determine which one is going to make the most sense. One thing to consider is the quantities involved. This is because the very nature of custom screen printing requires that you have the exact same set up to print one item as you would require to do 75 pieces. The cleanup process is identical as well. Once the press is calibrated and everything is in place, everything normally runs efficiently and quickly. It’s the initial set up that takes all the time. Usually the more colors involved, the more complicated the job becomes. One of the most important parts of the equation is starting out with good clean artwork that is color separated and considered to be camera ready. It doesn’t matter how well the image is transferred if the artwork is compromised right from the beginning. We are only as good as the art that we started with and never any better. If the initial image is lacking in any way then the quality of the finished tee shirt is going to suffer. Most people have no idea what is required of their image when it comes to this kind of thing. We have had people give us their business card and asked if that would be sufficient. The answer to that is no. It is not. If you take something that is very small and you decide to blow it up 500%, then it is going to distort and become very grainy.

Please give us an opportunity to talk to you about the next time you’re looking for a St. Louis digital T-shirt printing and custom embroidery company. We will educate you on all your different alternatives so you can make the best decision based on your circumstances. Our hope is that you will give us a chance when choosing a t-shirt printing company.
